Jim (Jimmy) Brody

Brody, Jim (Jimmy), (Sutton, Dublin 13 and formerly of Killanena, Co. Clare), March, 25 2020, passed away peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St. Luke’s Ward in the Hermitage Hospital, beloved husband of Ita, predeceased by his sisters Kitty (Sr. Angela) and Nora, very sadly missed by his loving wife, daughter Ciara, son David, daughter-in-law to be to Tara, sisters Bride and Peg (Sr. Margaret), brothers-in-law Bob and Peter, sisters-in-law Nuala, Geraldine and Maeve.  He will be sadly missed by his wide circle of traditional Irish music friends. 

May the tunes be plentiful in heaven.

A private funeral will take place for immediate family due to Government advice and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot or feel unable to do so, please feel free to leave a message in the Condolence Book at the bottom of this page or send on condolences by traditional manner. The family intends to hold a memorial to celebrate James' life at a later stage.
