The death has occurred of Jim Mc Kiernan, Drumhose, Kill, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, May 23rd 2021, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital, Cavan. Predeceased by his darling daughter Maura, son Seamus, brother Andy, sister Roseleen. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, his wife Rosemary, son Paul, daughter Aoife, son-in-law Damien, daughter-in-law Sophie, granddaughter Mary Kate, step-grandchildren Louis, Clara and Juliette, brother Packie, sisters Maire, Kathleen and Vera, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Due to Government and HSE restrictions Jim's funeral mass and burial will be celebrated in the presence of his family and friends restricted to 50 people. Those who would like to attend but cannot do so may leave a message in the condolence section below please. The Mc Kiernan family would like to thank you for your cooperation and consideration at this difficult time. Funeral cortege will leave Jim's home on Wednesday morning at 11.30 am to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Kill for 12 noon funeral mass, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
