Jim passed away peacefully at his home, cared for by his family after a long illness bravely borne. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, adored mother Peg, his dear children Ciara, Laura, Eóin, Sarah, Paul, Katie and Orlaigh. The lights of his life are his 6 beloved grandchildren Séimí, Sophie, Fiadh, Aoife, Páidí and Conor. Sadly missed by his loving sisters Catherine, Helen, Mags and Anne, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, sons-in-law Seamus, Rory, Mike and Alan, daughters-in-law Sinéad and Helen, his nieces, nephews, extended family and many neighbours and dear friends.
Jim will be forever remembered for his positivity, good humour and kind ways.
May Jim’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.
Due to current government guideline funerals are limited in numbers to immediate family only. Jim will leave his family home on Sunday morning at 11.30a.m. making his way to Rathnure Church. Family, friends and neighbours are invited if they wish to line the route, as a mark of support to the family. We respectfully request that people maintain social distance and follow all HSE and Public Health Guidelines.

A private family Mass will be celebrated followed by interment.
