Jim Redmond of Oaklands, Arklow, Co. Wicklow formerly of Tara Hill, Gorey, Co. Wexford and Rathfriland, Newry, Co. Down. January 3rd 2026 peacefully in the exceptional care of Liz, Pat, Billy and their wonderful team at Eyrefield Manor Nursing Home.

Pre- deceased by his wife Lucy (née Pierce) and his siblings Paddy, Alice, Gretta, Michael, Bernard and Johnny. Remembered with love by his children Patrick, Janet, Brian and Alice, sisters Winnie and Teresa, daughter-in-law Mary, sons-in-law Maurice and Darragh, Brian's partner Jean, grandchildren Sineád, Seán, Deirdre, Aoife, Michael, Colm and Doireann, great grandchildren Hannah Lucy, Oliver, Grace and Charlotte, sisters-in-law Nan and Patricia, nieces, nephews, extended family and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Janet and Maurice's home, Bellevue Road, Greystones on January 5th from 3pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass at 10am January 6th 2026, in St Mary’s and Peter’s Church, St. Mary’s Road, Arklow, Co. Arklow Y14 P957, which can be viewed live only on the following link http://www.arklowparish.ie/webcam/ after which Jim will be laid to rest with his beloved wife Lucy in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Arklow.
