Jim (Seamus) Sugrue

Formerly of Ballinskelligs

Predeceased by his parents John and Juliann and by his sister Sr. Maryanne

 

Jim completed his life’s journey at home with his devoted wife Eileen (née Higgins) and their family by his side. Deeply mourned by his wife Eileen and children Carol, Elaine, Tracy, Thelma, Niall and Alva, siblings Kathleen, Jackie, Fr. Paddy, Michéal, Donie and Joe.

 

Jim will be fondly remembered always by his daughter-in-law Kate, sons-in-law Harry, Alan and Fergal and by his twelve grandchildren all of whom he was immensely proud: Emma, Katie, Rachel, Laura, Jason, Adam, Jack, Evan, Ryan, James, Ethan and Ella. Sadly missed also by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, many great neighbours, colleagues and friends.

Funeral Arrangements:

Sunday, 21st December 2025

Jim will lie in repose at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, (H91 V1K8) from 5.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. No Removal to the Church this evening.

 

Monday, 22nd December 2025

Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Jim on arrival at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill at 12 noon. Following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed.

 

No Flowers please.
