The death has occurred of
JIM WHELAN
JIM WHELAN (Ballycrenane and formerly of Ballycotton). Passed away peacefully on June 26th 2021 in the presence of his family.
Beloved husband of Wendy, loving father of Sacha and Ivan, doting grandfather of Oscar, Madeleine and Alexander.
Sadly missed also by Dervilla and Letitia, his sisters Margaret and Frances and brother Michael while we remember his late brother Peter.
Heartfelt thanks to the management and staff of Ballincurrig Care Centre.
No flowers please.
In keeping with continuing guidance and restrictions, a private family funeral will take place for Jim.
On Tuesday 29th, Jim's cortége will arrive into Ballycotton at 915am approx, turning at the Cliff car park and travelling onwards via Shanagarry to arrive at 940am approx at Ballymaloe House, from there travelling through Cloyne & onto the Whitegate Road to turn right for Midleton. Jim will then be taken to a private Cremation Service. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines if paying your respects along the route.
