The death has occurred of Jimmy Cooney, Hawthorn Drive, Portlaoise, Co. Laois and formerly of Clonard, Co. Meath. Died 4th March 2024, at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Predeceased by his beloved wife Pat (née Moore). Deeply regretted by his sons Glenn and Gregory, brothers Fergal, David and John, his 6 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May Jimmy Rest in Peace
Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath, on Wednesday (March 6th) from 7pm, concluding with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Thursday afternoon (March 7th) to St. Fergal’s Church, Camross (eircode R32YV79), for Requiem Mass at 2pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
