DOWNEY (Colleras, Goleen): on Saturday, September 6th 2025, in the wonderful care of the nurses, doctors and staff in Bantry General Hospital. JIMMY, beloved husband of Kathleen and dear father of Ann, Mary, Finbarr and Seamus. Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, sons, daughters-in-law Rosie and Nuala, son-in-law Gordon, grandchildren Ruby, Matthew, Jess, Joe and Leo, sister-in-law Noreen (Sr.Gabriel), brother-in-law John and his wife Mary, and many kind neighbours and friends. May Jimmy rest in peace.

Reposing in Arundel & O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Schull, on Sunday, September 7th 2025 from 6pm to 7.30pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 2pm in the Church of Our Lady, Star of the Sea and St. Patrick, Goleen. This will be livestreamed here. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
