Jimmy Gallagher, Gorthmellia Strand, Barnatra, Ballina, Co.Mayo peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family on the 8th of December 2020. Predeceased by his parents James and Mary Gallagher.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Mary, daughters Maureen Healy (Ballinaboy), Margaret McAndrew (Knocknalower) and Caroline Nee (Galway), sons James (Glengad), David (Carrowmore) and Tommy (Gorthmellia Strand), brothers Thomas (Louth, UK), John (Leeds), Paddy (Watford) and Michael (Lincoln), sisters Ellen Gannon (Leeds), Nora Carter (Galway), Margaret Gallagher (Leeds), Bridie Noone (Gorthemllia Strand) and Ann Haughey (Donegal), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers in law, his 16 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Funeral cortege will leave his residence on Friday the 11th of December at 12 noon to arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Inver for Funeral Mass at 12:30. Burial will take place afterwards in Inver Cemetery.

Due to HSE guidelines regarding the Corona Virus (Covid 19), Jimmy’s Funeral is confined to family, friends and neighbours. A memorial mass for the repose of Jimmy’s soul will be held at a later date which will be announced in due course.
