McCARTHY (Ballinacurra, Midleton, late of Hollymount, Blarney Road and Dungarvan) On August 21st 2025 peacefully in the presence of his loving family and in the tender loving care of the staff of St. Bernadette's Ward, Bon Secours Hospital, JIMMY (late of Bus Eireann); beloved husband of the late Carmel (née Eubank) and loving father of Paul and Elizabeth. Sadly missed by his loving son, daughter, grandchildren Alex, Chloe, Lucy and Aoife, son-in-law Adrian, daughter-in-law Catherine, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Visitation at O'Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Sunday, August 24th, from 4pm - 5pm with Prayers at 4.45pm. Requiem Mass at 11am on Monday, August 25th, in the Church of The Ascension, Gurranabraher which will be live-streamed on https://www.gurranabraherparish.ie/webcam/ Funeral afterwards to St. Catherine's Cemetery, Kilcully.
