Jimmy O'Mahony

O’Mahony (Newcestown) on September 24th 2020, peacefully, at Cork University Hospital. James (Jimmy), beloved son of the late Denis and Bebe, and loving brother of Mary (O’Brien), Lena (Desmond), Bebeanne (Carey), Maurice and Catherine.

Sadly missed by his loving sisters, brother, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and his many friends especially his loyal G.A.A. friends.

In an effort to follow Government and HSE guidelines, Jimmy’s Funeral will be private. The family would like to thank you for your co-operation and understanding at this difficult time. Condolences can be left on the 'condolence' link below.

Jimmy’s Funeral Cortège will be leaving the Funeral Home in Bandon on Monday  at 1-30pm  on route to St. John the Baptist Church, Newcestown, for a Private Requiem Mass at 2.30pm  which will be livestreamed on Murragh and Templemartin Parish Facebook page.

The family would like to thank the Matron and Staff at Bishopscourt Nursing Home, Waterfall for the support and exceptional care given to Jimmy. It was very much appreciated.
