Jimmy O'Neill

Jimmy O'Neill, (Seven Houses, Danesfort, Kilkenny) died peacefully on 24th June 2025 in the excellent care of all the staff in St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny City, surrounded by his devoted family. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Ellen, infant sister Mary, brother Owen and grandchildren Stephen and John. Jimmy will be deeply missed by his loving and caring wife Mary, sons Joe, Brendan, Mark and daughter Teresa, daughters-in-law Regina, Maggie, Cathy and son-in-law David. Jimmy will be forever missed by his adored (11) grandchildren, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, extended family, good neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

MAY JIMMY REST IN PEACE

Jimmy will be reposing at his daughter Teresa’s residence, Seven Houses (R95 DK22) on Thursday (26th) from 3pm to 7pm with rosary and vigil prayers at 6pm. Removal on Friday morning (27th) from Jimmy’s residence to St. Michael’s Church, Danesfort for Requiem Mass at 11am and followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
