Jimmy Pa Brosnan

Jimmy Pa Brosnan, Mausrour, Gneeveguilla, died peacefully on the 4th April 2026 at his home surrounded by his adoring and loving family. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Ellen, his brother Patrick, his brothers-in-law Sonny Fitzgerald, Michael Fleming, Battie Fleming and nephew Donal FitzGerald.

Sadly missed, and lovingly cherished by his wife Marie, his children Eileen (Kearns), Patrick, Batt, Ann (O’Connor), James, Marguerite (Moynihan), Mike, Dan, Susan (Galvin) and John, his sister Hannah Mary, brothers-in-law John and Pat Fleming, niece Margaret, nephew Pa, sons and daughters-in-law Tommy, Kathleen, Angela, Denis, Mairead, Tim, Toni, Marcella, Matt and Sinead, adored by his 30 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, and a large circle of friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Prayers and reception in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Gneeveguilla (P51AH96), on Monday, 6th April 2026, at 4:00pm. Family will be in attendance until 7:00pm.

Jimmy’s funeral cortege will depart his residence on Tuesday morning, 7th April, at 10:15am for his requiem mass at 11:00am, in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Gneeveguilla. Burial afterwards in Rathmore cemetery. Family flowers only. House private please.
