Jimmy Reilly

The death has occurred of Jimmy Reilly, Tiernahinch, Clones, Co. Monaghan, Wednesday 25th February, 2026, peacefully, in Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his wife Bridie, his parents Mary and Patrick, his grandson Daniel (who died in infancy) and all his beloved brothers and sisters.

Cherished and much loved father of Brian (Orla, Wexford), Richard (Mary, Chicago, USA), Samantha (James, Tiernahinch, Clones) and Stephen (Joanne, Chicago, USA). Jimmy will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his daughter, sons, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, adored grandchildren, Moya, Bronagh, Dean, James, Conor, Michael, much loved great-grandchildren, Maya and Daniel, his brother Danny (Anne, Beechgrove, Clones), his partner Moyra, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, neighbours and by all who knew and loved Jimmy

Jimmy will be resting at his late residence, Tiernahinch, Clones H23 EA47 on Friday 27th from 4pm to 8pm. House private to family and close friends at all other times Please, including Saturday morning. Removal on Saturday morning 28th at 10.30am to the Sacred Heart Church, Clones for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Mount St Oliver Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Clones Hospice, c/o Martin's Funeral Directors, Newbliss.
