Jimmy Rooney
Jimmy (James) Rooney (Grehanstown, Killucan, Co. Westmeath) 14th December 2019 (suddenly at home). Predeceased by his parents Edward and Mary, sister Moira and brothers-in-law Fr. Peter Gillooly and Paddy Lyons. Loving husband of Anne and much loved father of Anthony, Mary, Clare, Louise, Veronica, Sarah-Jane, Bernadine, Áine, Gemma, James and Edward. Adored grandad of Charlotte, Lily, Alex, Kobe and Annabel. Loving brother of Ann (Fallon, Moyvoughly) and Willie (Surrey, UK).
Deeply missed by his heartbroken wife and 11 children, grandchildren, sons-in-law Eamonn & Darryl, brothers-in-law Fr. Domnick Gillooly, Fr. Tommy Gillooly, John Gillooly Jim Fallon & Michael Leyden, sisters-in-law Alice Rooney, Carmel Gillooly & Margaret Leyden, nieces, nephews, relatives and his wide circle of friends.

Reposing in St.Camillus Nursing Centre Chapel, Killucan, Co. Westmeath (Eircode N91VF51) this Wednesday evening (18th December) from 4pm concluding with Mass at 6pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday (19th December) in St. Joseph's Church, Rathwire at 11am with burial afterwards in local cemetery.
