Jimmy Rooney

The death has occurred of Jimmy Rooney - Brookfield, Mullingar, late of Eircom and formerly of Davidstown, Rathconrath, Co. Westmeath - December 1, 2021 (peacefully) following a short illness in the company of his devoted wife and family at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar. Loving husband and best friend of Marie, step-father to Brendan, Cathriona and the late Alan;  Jimmy will be very sadly missed by his wife and family, sister Mary, brother Paddy, aunt Bernie, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, former colleagues in Eircom and many friends.  Remembering also his late parents Rosie and Nicholas, brother Sean, aunts Bridie and Molly and uncles Pat and Tom.

Funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 1 o'c in the Cathedral of Christ the King followed by burial in Milltown Rathconrath Cemetery.   The Mass can be viewed live on www.mullingarparish.ie.
