Jimmy (Spanner) Reilly

Reilly, Jimmy (Spanner) - late of Cabra West, Dublin 7 and Dublin City Council Cleansing Department - Passed away peacefully on 15th August 2025, surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff in the Mater Hospital. Predeceased by his only brother Charlie.

 

Jimmy will be very sadly missed and remembered always by his beloved wife Phyllis, sons David and Jamie, daughters Cathy and Joanne, sons-in-law Matty and Dunner, daughter-in-law Bernadette, grandchildren David, Brian, Kelly, Patrick, Daniel, Jade, Carla, Ciara, JJ, Tammi, Jodie, Blake and Ruby, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

May Jimmy’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.

 

Reposing in Massey Bros. Funeral Home, 88A New Cabra Road, Cabra, D07 ET92 on Wednesday 20th August from 5pm - 7pm. Removal on Thursday morning to The Most Precious Blood Church, Cabra West, arriving at 10:05am for Requiem Mass at 10:15am, with Burial thereafter in Glasnevin Cemetery, St. Paul’s section.
