Formerly of Aughadowry, Ballinamuck.

JJ died peacefully surrounded by his heartbroken family in Cavan General Hospital on 16/08/2025.

Predeceased by his mother Ellen, his father and father-in-law Chris Egan.

JJ will be sadly missed and forever loved by his family, his beloved wife and best friend Nicola, his cherished daughters Cáit and Maisie, sister Mary, mother-in-law Kathleen, brothers-in-law Vincent Smyth, Christopher and Kevin Egan, sister-in-law Julie Egan, nephews Cian, Aaron and Erin, relatives, neighbours and his many great friends.

Your life was love and labour,
Your love for your family true.
You did your best for all of us.
We will always love and remember you.

Reposing in Connell's Funeral Home, Church St, Longford, N39 KN66 on Tuesday 19th from 5 o'clock concluding with prayers at 8 o'clock.

Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Newtownforbes on Wednesday 20th at 12 o'clock. Following Mass, JJ will be laid to rest in the family plot in Ballinamuck New Cemetery. Mass can be viewed live click on the link below.
