JJ (James) Behan

The death has occurred of JJ (James) Behan, Dane Street, Shanagolden, Co. Limerick on 17th March 2024.

JJ passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of Ward 6B, University Hospital Limerick after a short illness, borne with courage and dignity.

Pre-deceased by his parents Jenny & Ned, and brothers Eamon & Pats.

Deeply missed by his heartbroken wife and soul-mate Maggie, loving children Laura and Ian, son in law Pat, daughter in law Natalie, his cherished grandchildren Dylan, Leah & AJ, brothers Seanie, Tim, Frank, George & Declan, sisters Ellen & Peg, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, and many wonderful neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home in Dane Street (V94 E2X7) on Tuesday 19th March from 5-8pm. Arriving at Shanagolden Church for 12 noon Mass on Wednesday 20th March followed by burial afterwards in Shanagolden Cemetery.
