JJ SMYTH

JJ died peacefully surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of Sonas Nursing Home Knock. Cherished husband of  Gemma, and loving father of Ivan (deceased), Marianna and Stephanie. Sadly missed by his heartbroken family sister Mary, son-in-law Eoin,  adored grandchildren Grace, Kal, Finn and Jacob;  sisters-in-law Mary, Olive and Anita, brothers-in-law Ton and John,  nephews,  nieces, cousins, neighbours and friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

The family want to acknowledge, with great appreciation, all blood donors without whom we wouldn't have had him for so long. Thank you to blood donors for your amazing gift.

Reposing at Gilligan’s funeral home (walk through only and no handshaking please for duration of the funeral) Market Square, Claremorris (F12YP74) on Sunday evening from 5.30pm with removal at 7pm to St Colman’s Church, Claremorris. Funeral Mass on Monday at 11am with burial afterwards in St Colman’s Cemetery.
