It is with great sadness we announce the death of our beloved Jo, a dear wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, godmother and friend.
Jo passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the exceptional care of the staff at Marymount Hospice after a short illness borne with great courage and dignity. Beloved wife of Eddie, loving and adored mother to Aisling and Eamonn, darling daughter of Noreen and the late Connie O'Connor, dear sister of Trish (Gallagher), Donal, Niall, Bernard, Kevin, the late Dominic & infant Oisin and sister--­in- law of the late Joe and Denis English. Jo will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, daughter, son, mother, sister. brothers, sisters-in-law Michelle, Eileen, Sara (O'Connor) Eileen (Linehan), Rose, April and Eleanor (English) brothers-in-law Sean Gallagher & JP English and her uncle Jack Daly, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, colleagues, neighbours and all who had the pleasure of knowing Jo.

Jo will repose at Cahill's Funeral Home, Newtown Rd. Cobh P24Y383 on Wednesday April 10th from 5.30pm with prayers at 7.30pm. Reception into St. Colman's Cathedral on Thursday April 11th at 2.20pm for 3.00pm Requiem Mass followed by burial in St. Colman's Cemetery, Cobh.


Jo requested that her life be remembered with joy, laughter and love reflecting the beautiful way she lived. She was known for her infectious smile, positivity and unwavering care for loved ones. Let laughter fill the air and let her memory be a source of warmth and inspiration rather than sadness Jo asked that people wear bright colours to celebrate her life.
