O’CONNELL (Victoria Cross, Cork): On March 11th, 2026, peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff at Kinsale Community Hospital, JO HANNAH (née O’Sullivan), much loved wife of the late Pat, loving mother of Mary (Hickey), Hilda (O’Regan), Carol (Coleman), John, Yvonne (Anthony), Paula (McDonnell), Regina (Bourke), Adrian, Cathal, Fiona (Murphy) and the late Patricia (Twomey), adored nana of her 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, brother Finbarr and the late Mary, Donie, Tony, Gerald, Eileen and Phil.

 

Sadly missed by her loving family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

 

Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd. on Friday (March 13th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

 

Requiem Mass at 10.00am on Saturday (March 14th) in the Sacred Heart Church, Western Road which can be viewed here

 

Funeral afterwards to St. Olivers Cemetery, Model Farm Road.

 

Family flowers only, donations if desired to Kinsale Community Hospital.

 

The family would like to thank Kinsale Community Hospital for the wonderful care their mother received in the last 4 years.
