Jo Jo Barrett

Jo Jo Barrett, Barrow Lodge, Sandy Lane, Barrow, Ardfert, Co. Kerry and formerly of Ballinasare, Tralee.  Peacefully on July 17th 2021, after a short illness bravely borne, at his daughter Noelle and son-in-law Avni's residence, in the tender and loving care of his family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Anne (nee Reidy, Fiddane, Gortatlea). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his loving family, Áine, Joe, Tríona, Mary, Sonya and Noelle, his loving partner Julie, sons-in-law John, Bruno, Damien, Ben and Avni, daughter-in-law Bea, his adored 13 grandchildren, sister Fan , brother-in-law Donal Reidy , his loving nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and his many dear loyal friends.

In accordance with current HSE guidelines (Max 50 people), a private family funeral will take place for Jo Jo with this Requiem Mass on Monday afternoon  at 2pm in the Church of the Purification, Churchill,(livestreamed on churchmedia.tv/camera/churchill) followed by burial in Clogher Cemetery, Ballymacelligott. Please Note ; The funeral cortège will depart Sandy Lane, Barrow, at 1.30pm on Monday and travel via Barrow Bay, en route to the church and will depart the church at 3pm approx, en route to Clogher Cemetery, travelling via Ballygarran, Scrathan Cross, Ballinasare, Ballyroe, Mounthawk, Caherslee, taking a left up The Rock, then a right passing St. Brendan's Church and Austin Stack Park and onwards to Clogher Cemetery Ballymacelligott.
