The death has occurred of
Joahanna (Joan) O' Callaghan
(née Mullane)
On Feb 25th 2025, peacefully in the tender and loving care of the staff of Mallow General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, Joan (formerly of Coolroemore, Banteer), predeceased by her husband Jack, wonderful loving mother to Margaret Walsh, Geraldine O'Donoghue and Josephine.
Sadly missed by her loving family, dear grandchildren Eleanor, Eoin, Padraig and Siobhán, great-grandchildren Kayden and Lochlan, sons-in-law Johnny and Gerard, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing in Grace's Funeral Home, Kanturk (P51 WDX8) on Thursday from 6.30 pm to 8 pm. Prayers will take place at 6.30 pm. Reception into St. Fursey's Church, Banteer on Friday for requiem mass at 11 am. Funeral afterwards to Lyre Cemetery.
Joan's Family would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Shane Killeen and his team, nurses, staff and carers of ward 4B, Cork University Hospital for the exceptional care they provided to Joan during her stay.
