Joan ARMSTRONG
(née McShane)
ARMSTRONG (nee McShane) (formerly of Cooleen Ave, Beaumont and Clare Road, Drumcondra, Dublin) December 21st 2023 (peacefully) surrounded by her family and in the loving care of the staff at Elm Green Nursing Home, Castleknock. Joan, beloved wife of the late John (Ted), cherished mother of Fred and Colette, a devoted Nana to Rebecca, Rachael, Laura and Benny and dear sister of Jimmy, Gaye and the late Mamie, Alan, Noreen and Marjorie. Sadly missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law Bernie, son-in-law Jim, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Rest in Peace
Reposing at Elm Green Nursing Home, Castleknock on Tuesday evening (St. Stephen’s Day) from 4pm to 6pm. Removal to the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, Laurel Lodge on Wednesday morning (December 27th) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Dardistown Cemetery.
