Joan passed away peacefully on the 25th of February 2026 in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Kerry.

Joan is pre-deceased by her beloved husband Michael and sons Jonathan and Patrick. Sadly missed by her sons David and Kenneth, daughters-in-law Sheelagh and Virginie, adored grandchildren Myka, Jamie, Osheen, Saoirse, Kaelen and Mihal, best friends Maureen and Mary, relatives, neighbours and many wonderful friends.

Reposing at O'Shea's Funeral Home, Killarney this Friday the 27th of February from 4:30pm to 6:30pm followed by removal to St. Mary's Cathedral. Requiem Mass will take place at 10:30am on Saturday morning followed by burial afterwards in Aghadoe Cemetery. The Requiem Mass will be live streamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/killarneycathedral.
