Joan Bergin, (née Kearney), Ballywalter, Callan, Co. Kilkenny.
Peacefully, at St. Lukes’s Hospital, Kilkenny surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, 6th May 2025.
Pre-deceased by her parents Nancy and Peter, brothers Michael and Ray and sister Mary.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sorrowing family, her husband Jim, daughters Joanne, Louise and Julie, sons-in-law Richie Walsh and Kenny Mahony - Quinn, grandchildren Sarah, Claire, Shane, Eoin, Harry and Bonnie, brother Frank, sister Philomena, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan (Eircode R95 Y443), on Thursday, 8th May
from 5pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm.
Funeral Prayers on Friday morning, 9th May at 10.15am followed by removal to The Church of The Assumption, Callan arriving for Requiem Mass at 11 o’clock

Cremation will follow afterwards in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin (Eircode D6W HY98), at 2.30pm
