The death has occurred of Joan Bowler (née O’Donnell) of Cahersiveen, Co. Kerry, formerly of Kildorrery, Co. Cork.

Joan, beloved wife of Eamonn and mother of Jackie, passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit of University Hospital Kerry on 29 March 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved parents, Jo and Tim and her brother Mattie.

She will be forever missed and remembered by her husband Eamonn, daughter Jackie, brother Terence, sister Marnie, sisters-in-law, Mary O’Donnell and Mary Dunne, brother-in-law, Tim Glavin and Mary’s husband Joe Dunne, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family and loving friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing in Daly’s Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, April 1st, from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at Daniel O'Connell Memorial Church, Cahersiveen for Requiem Mass at 11am on Wednesday, April 2nd, followed by private cremation at The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Cork.

A memorial mass will be held for Joan in Kildorrery at a later date.
