Joan (The Lord) passed away peacefully, in her 100th year, at her home in the presence of her loving family on 10th February 2026.

 

Beloved wife of the late Patrick T, much loved mother of Eileen, Mary, Tim Joe, Michael, Pat, John and Tom. Cherished grandmother of Tadhg, Máire, Pádraig, Siobhán, Peter, Patrick, Joan, Patrick, Liam, Máiréad, Patrick, Paddy, Sorcha, Bébhinn, Ailbhe, Thomas and great grandson Cúan.

 

Sadly missed by her sons-in-law; Hugh O’Connell and John Cronin, daughters-in-law; Margaret, Anne, Margaret and Maria, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

 

Joan was the last surviving member of her family and is pre-deceased by her sister Mary, brothers John, Timothy, Patrick, Denis, Michael, William, Joseph and Vincent.

Reposing at St. Bridget’s Funeral Home Gneeveguilla (P51T657) on Wednesday, 11th February 2026 from 5.30pm to 8.00pm, followed by removal to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Gneeveguilla.

 

Requiem Mass for Joan will take place on Thursday, 12th February at 11.00am in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Gneeveguilla with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
