Joan Claffey (nee Johnson), Station Road, Moate, Co. Westmeath, formally of Ballydrown, Castledaly, January 21st, 2021, peacefully at the Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore. Predeceased by her husband Danny, parents Patrick and Ellen, brothers and sisters. Deeply regretted by her loving sons Danny, Patrick, Lorcan, Charles, Ray and daughter Gina (Dolan), daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, wonderful neighbours, friends and her card playing colleagues.

In keeping with current government guidelines regarding public gatherings, a private funeral will take place for Joan. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 11.30am in St. Patrick’s Church, Moate, with burial afterwards in Kilcleagh Cemetery, Castledaly.
