Joan Dowdall (née Lappin)

 

Peacefully, in the Signa Care Nursing Home, Bunclody, Co. Wexford.

 

Mother to Barrie, Siobhan, Leslie and Gavin.

 

She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Cissy, brother Johnny, son-in-law Oliver and daughter-in-law, Siobhan, grandchildren Damien, Lydia, Colin, Jack and Juliette, sisters-in-law Gertie, Colette and her wide circle of great friends.

Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff in Signa Care Nursing Home, the Bunclody HSE Community Nursing Services and the NHSO Support Team in Wexford Town.

A celebration of Joan’s life will be held at Carpenters Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq, Carlow Town (R93 C863) at 1pm on Monday March 23rd, 2026
