Joan Fahey (née Walsh), 6th March 2025, Beltra, Newport, Co. Mayo and formerly of Curry, Belcarra, Castlebar, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff in Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar, surrounded by her loving family.

 

Pre deceased by her parents John and Annie (née Joyce) Walsh, her sister Annie-Mary and beloved husband Jack.

 

Deeply mourned by her daughters Maureen Maye (Castlebar), Bernie Joyce (Islandeady), Anne Quinn (Galway), Lorraine Nolan (Turlough), Yvonne (London) and son Liam (Beltra), sons-in-law Vincent, Tommie, Ronnie and Michael, Yvonne’s partner Eugene Mulvey and Liam’s partner Aisling Noone, cherished grandchildren Paul, Liam, Darragh, Ryan, Cian and Tara, sister-in-law Breege (Mc Mahon, London), cousins, kind neighbours, relatives and friends.

 

May her gentle Soul rest in peace

 

Joan will repose at Coady’s Funeral Home, Castlebar, F23 XY63 on (Friday 7th March) from 5.30pm with removal at 7p to her residence.

 

Removal from her residence on Saturday morning at 10.30a.m for Requiem Mass at 11.30a.m in Holy Rosary Church, Glenisland followed by burial afterwards in Glenisland Cemetery.
