Joan Flynn (née Leahy), Kilmeaney, Kilmorna and late of Shrone, Listowel, Co. Kerry. Peacefully, on February 21st, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and in the exceptional care of the staff of the Palliative Care Unit, University Hospital Kerry. Beloved wife and best friend of Johnny, loving mother of Sarah and Anna, daughter of Bridget and the late Dan Joe Leahy, sister of Nora (Power), Bridget (O'Connor), Kathy (O'Connor), Helen (Leahy), John, Timmy and Hughie. Sadly missed by her uncles, aunts, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Lyons Funeral Home, Derry, Listowel on Sunday evening (February 22nd) from 5.00pm to 7.30pm. Funeral arriving to The Church of the Assumption, Moyvane on Monday afternoon at 2.15pm, with the Requiem Mass for Joan being celebrated at 2.30pm, live-streamed on www.churchmedia.tv/moyvane , followed by burial afterwards in St. John Paul II Cemetery, Ballybunion Road, Listowel.
