Joan Geraghty, (née Murray), former postmistress, Mill Street, Kilmoganny, Co. Kilkenny.

 

Peacefully, in her 93rd year, in the loving care of the Staff at Mooncoin Residential Care Centre, on Sunday, 6th July 2025.

 

Pre-deceased by her husband Gerard and her parents John and Ellen.

 

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, her children Lorraine (Walsh), Raymond and Jackie (Kenneally), brothers Jim and Vincent, grandchildren Gary, Evan, Mark and Zoe, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Richard and John, daughter-in-law Eileen, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

 

May Joan Rest in Peace.

 

Reposing at St. Joseph’s Home, Kilmoganny (Eircode R95 T850), on Wednesday, 9th July from 5pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm.

 

Funeral prayers on Thursday morning, 10th July at 10am followed by removal to St. Eoghan’s Church, Kilmoganny arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial will follow afterwards in Kilmoganny Cemetery.
