(née Fanning)

GRIFFIN, (née Fanning), Joan, 9th November 2025, Scholarstown Pk., Rathfarnham, D.16, formerly of Tipperary Town. Peacefully in her 96th year, after a short illness in Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown following the wonderful care of the staff in Mount Hybla Nursing Home, Castleknock.

Beloved wife of the late Pat, pre-deceased by her sisters, Breda & Essie and her only brother, John. Loving and much-loved mother of John, Andrew (Dec’d), Kevin, Tony, Noel, Paul and daughter Cora. Joan will be forever loved and dearly missed by her sons and daughter, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, extended family, relatives and friends.

Joan is now reunited with her beloved husband Pat, son Andrew, and daughters-in-law Elaine and Anne.

May she Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Templeogue, D6W AC82 this Wednesday evening from 5pm - 7pm. Removal on Thursday morning to St. Colmcille’s Church, Knocklyon arriving for 11am Requiem Mass followed by cremation thereafter in The Garden Chapel, Mt. Jerome Crematorium.
