Joan Grout, (nee Brett), Knocknacarra, Galway, formerly Cleaghmore, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway, passed away peacefully on 24th June 2023. Predeceased by her beloved father Walter and brother Gerard. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Paul, son Cian and daughter Aoife, mother Peggy, brothers Derry and Ray, sisters Yvonne and Mary, father-in-law Rob, mother-in-law Brenda, brothers-in-law Matt and Steve, sisters-in-law Sissi, Mieke and Kate, aunt Essie Brennan, uncle Gerard Brett, nieces Lotje, Klaartje, Bo and Daisy, nephews Luke, Joel and Sammy, many cousins, neighbours and many friends. Many thanks to the Galway clinic for all the care given to Joan.

Reposing in St. Anthony’s Room, St. John the Apostle Church, Knocknacarra, Galway, on Wednesday, 28th June 2023, from 6 o’clock to 7 o’clock. Funeral Mass at 11o'clock on Thursday 29th in St. John the Apostle Church, with burial afterwards in Creagh Graveyard, Ballinasloe. Family flowers only, by request.
