The death has occurred of Joan Guerin (nee Buckley) Convent St., Listowel and Coolkeragh. Joan, in her 99th year, died peacefully, in the loving care of the staff of Aras Mhuire Nursing Home, Listowel. Beloved wife of the late Paud Guerin and devoted mother of Eileen Flaherty, Michael Guerin, Mary O'Connor, Margaret Guerin, William Guerin, Pat Guerin, Jean Culhane.
Predeceased by her children Patrick and Gerard, Grandchild Kate Culhane, her sister Neille, brothers Michael and Dan. Survived by her 21 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, sons-in law, daughters-in -law, nieces and nephews, extended family and wide circle of friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at The Gleasure Funeral Home, Greenville, Listowel on Monday evening 8th April from 4.30 to 7pm, with removal to St. Mary’s Parish Church at 7pm. Requiem Mass will take place at 11.30 am Tuesday 9th April, followed by burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Listowel. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Arus Mhuire Nursing Home.
