Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the exceptional care of the staff of Summerville Nursing Home, Strandhill, Co Sligo.

Predeceased by her loving husband Tommy, parents John and Nora, brothers Ted and Jarlath (ODC).

Joan will be very sadly missed by her devoted daughters Moya, Michele, Siobhan, her loving sister Moya (Mattimoe), sons-in-law Ger (Byrne), Roddy (Murphy), Brian (Kelly), cherished grandchildren Louise Rachel, Peter, Alan, Conor, Fiona and Lisa, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Joan's remains will repose at Nazareth House chapel, Church Hill Sligo (F91DD72) Sunday, 30th June, from 1pm to 3pm. Mass of the Resurrection will take place in The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo, on Monday, 1st of July, at 11.30am, with burial afterwards in St Patrick's Cemetery, Scarden, Sligo. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if so desired, to The Alzheimer's Society of Ireland c/o John McDermott Funeral Directors.
