Joan Harrington

Harrington (Bandon) on January 23rd 2022 peacefully at her home in  Castlewoods and surrounded by her loving family. Joan (nee O'Donovan) beloved wife of the late John B. late of Innishannon Road and dear mother of Betty (O'Donovan), Niall, Sean, Barry, Marie (Shorten), Kieran, Caroline, Thereze (O'Driscoll), Yvonne (O'Donovan) and the late Noel, sister of the late John and Dermot.

Sadly missed by her loving family, sister Mary (O'Sullivan), sons-in-law Sean, Robert, Paul and Michael, her wonderful daughter-in-law Eileen, her 15 grandchildren, her 17 great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, home help, wonderful neighbours and kind friends.

Joan will be lying in repose at her home at Castlewoods (Eircode P72VX49) on Monday eve from 5pm followed by Prayers at 8pm. Joan's funeral cortege will leave her home on Tuesday at 1pm  via The By Pass, passing her previous place of residence at Innishannon Road, Glasslyn Road en route to St. Patrick's Church, Bandon for Requiem Mass at 2pm which can be live streamed on www.bandonparish.ie/live, funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery.

The family would like to thank most sincerely Dr. Joanne Gaynor for the wonderful care that Joan received from her.
