The death has occurred of
Joan Hernon
(née Fortune)
Formerly of Ferns, Co. Wexford. On July 18, Joan passed away peacefully at Castlegar Nursing, Home. Dearly beloved wife of the late Tom and much-loved mother of Tim, Peter, Francis, Oliver, Thomas, Adrian and Damien. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her loving sons, her daughters-in-law, and grandchildren, her great-grandchildren and the extended Fortune and Hernon family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at the ‘Cillín’ within the Church of Mary Immaculate Queen, Barna on Wednesday, 20 July, from 6 p.m. Removal at 7.30 p.m. to her home . Arriving at Barna Church in advance of Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Thursday, 21 July. Private Cremation to follow. A "Walk Through' system will be in place in the Cillín.
