DARDIS, JOAN, (JOANIE), (née CURTIS), North Strand, Dublin and formerly of Gardiner Street. 19th January 2026. Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff in the Mater Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

 

Joanie, beloved wife to the late Christopher (Butch), beloved daughter to the late Francis (Franie) Curtis and Joan Curtis Burke, sister to the late Francis, Gerard, Darren, angel brother Michael, mother-in-law to the late James McAuley and daughter-in-law to the late Christopher and Allie Dardis.

 

Joanie will be very sadly missed by her heartbroken daughters Jennifer, Martina and Jolene, sons-in-law George and Lee, grandsons Colin, James, Josh, Calvin, Tadgh, Kristian, Bobby-Lee, Charlie, Darren and Melvin, her 3 precious granddaughters Sierra, Milan and Capri, great grandsons Reid and Kai and their mammies Alannah and Ellie, sisters Tina, Bernie and Martina, sisters-in-law Margaret, Pauline and Lisa, brothers-in-law John, Charlie and Eddie, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends with special thanks to Paula there in a time of need.

Joan will repose at her Home

THURSDAY 22nd January and FRIDAY 23rd January for Everyone to pay their Respects

FUNERAL MASS will take place on SATURDAY 24th January 2026 at 10am

Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Sean McDermott Street, Dublin 1

Followed by a Burial Service at Glasnevin Cemetery (St. Patricks Graveyard), Old Finglas Road, Dublin 11
