KAVANAGH (née Walsh),  Joan (Whitehall Road West, Terenure and  formerly of Ballsbridge College V.E.C. and TUI), September 22, 2021 – peacefully, at home. Beloved wife of the late Gerald, loving mother of  Judith, Kathryn, Elizabeth, Sarah-Jane, Jerome, Anna and their late brother Cormac, sister of Pat and her late brothers Bernard and Jimmy. She will be very sadly missed by her children and their partners Larry, Mary, Mark H. and Mark K., grandchildren Killian, Laura, Isobel, James, Aidan, Lexi and Charlotte, extended family members and a wide circle of friends.

Very special thanks to Prof. Janice Walshe and the late Mr. Enda McDermott, the staff of St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross and the Irish Cancer Society.

Reposing, for family and close friends, at Rom Massey and Sons Funeral Directors, 1-3 Dolphin’s Barn, SCR, D08N2X7 from 4:30pm to 7pm on Thursday, 23 September, 2021.  

Funeral Mass on Friday morning, September 24, at Kimmage Manor Church at 10am.
