Joan Mander
(née Morrison)

The death has occurred of Joan Mander (nee Morrison), Balrath South, Ballyhealy, Delvin, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Blanchardstown and Ballyfermot, Dublin, peacefully at home on the 17th May, 2024 after a long illness in the care of and surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents Michael and Mary, son Dermot and great-grandchild Jayden.

Loving wife of Tony and devoted mother of Anthony, Sabrina, Jeanette, Maresa and Katie. Joan will be sadly missed by her husband, son, daughters, sons in law, grandchildren, great-grandchild, brother, sisters, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Joan's Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her home (Eircode N91 WV61) this Tuesday evening from 4pm followed by prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass takes place on Wednesday at 12 noon in St. Camillus Nursing Centre chapel, Killucan (Eircode N91 VF51) with burial afterwards in Delvin Cemetery.

Joan's family would like to thank district nurse Karen, home health carer Eveta and all the health care staff and carers who looked after Joan with great care.
