JOAN McALEESE
(née Kilmartin)
Joan passed away peacefully in the care of the dedicated staff of Anovocare, Cloughran, Co. Dublin on 27th February 2026.
Adored wife of the late Joe, great Mum to Barbara, Tom and Paul and a wonderful grandmother (Mutti) to Joe, Sarah, Kate, Ben, Emily and Tom Jnr, mother-in-law to Liz and Sinead and friend of Martin. She is predeceased by siblings Tom, Pat, Betty, and Peg. She will be forever loved and celebrated by her heartbroken family, friends, nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends from Dublin, Ennis and Lahinch.

Private Funeral Mass for family and friends will take place at 11am on Tuesday 3rd March 2026 at the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown (and for those who wish to follow the Mass online see link https://booterstownparish.ie/mass-times/), followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Angels Chapel, in Harold's Cross, Dublin 6.
