Joan McKeon

The death has occurred of Joan McKeon (née Canning), Dristernaun, Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim on Saturday, 7th March, 2026. Joan passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of all the staff of Lough Erril Nursing Home, Mohill, Co Leitrim.

Predeceased by her husband Shane, brothers Noel, Brendan and John, sisters Sheila (McCloskey), Bridie (Finlay) and Patsy (McGowan). Beloved mother of John, Charlotte and Farrell, mother-in-law to Maureen and Mary, adored grandmother of Claire, Shane, Conor, Matthew, Myles, Maria, Alana and Sean. Joan will be sadly missed by her brother Mel, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home, Ballinamore Road, Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim (N41TX88) on Sunday, 8th March. House private, family only please.
Removal from her home at 5.30 pm for arrival at 6.00 pm to St. Patrick's Church, Drumshanbo.
