The peaceful death has occurred of Joan McLaughlin (nee Cummins),

“Ceol na Mara”,

Cahir O Doherty Avenue,

Buncrana, County Donegal

in the exceptional care of her family and staff of Letterkenny University Hospital.

Formerly of Balbriggan, County Dublin and former employee of the Irish Farmers Association.

Wife of the late Dr Denis McLaughlin, Buncrana.

Predeceased by her son Charles and grandson Cormac.

She is missed and loved by her children, daughter Kathryn (Alec), sons Ciaran, Feargal (Caroline) and Declan (Patricia), daughter-in-law Rhona, sister Maeve, brothers John (Mary) and Nicky (Theresa) (Dublin), her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and extended family.

Removal from McLaughlin and McLaughlin Undertakers, Funeral Home, Lower Main Street, Buncrana, County Donegal, Thursday 5th December, at 4pm to her late residence.

Funeral from her late residence on Saturday morning 7th December, at 9.15 am for 10am Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Oratory, Buncrana, Co Donegal followed by burial afterwards in St. Mary’s Cemetery Cockhill, Buncrana, County Donegal.

Family time please from 10pm to 10am and on the morning of the funeral.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to the patients comfort fund at Buncrana Community Nursing Unit.
