Joan passed away peacefully on 16th April 2026, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Dermot, and her siblings Sheila, Jerry, Fergus, Mary, Patsy and David.

Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her loving family; daughters Una, Jane, Suzie and Deirdre, and her son Derry; her sisters Úna and Margaret; her adored twenty grandchildren; sons-in-law Kevin, Yutaka, David (Max) and Peter; daughter-in-law Audrey; nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at Conneely’s Funeral Home, Flood Street, Galway (H91 A786) on Monday, 20th April, from 5.30pm to 7pm. Arriving at St. Oliver Plunkett Church, Renmore, Galway (H91 PX95) for Requiem Mass on Tuesday, 21st April, at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to The New Cemetery, Bohermore.
