McSWEENEY (Garryhesta, Ovens, Co. Cork) On January 23rd 2023 peacefully in the presence of her loving family at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, JOAN (née Murphy), late Order of Malta Carrigaline Unit; beloved wife of John, loving mother of Eoin, Áine, Treasa, Bernard and Cian. Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughters, grandchildren Nathan, Cian, Aoife, Jessica, Éabha, Rory, Annie and Joe Joe, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law Michael and Tom, daughters-in-law Danielly, Kate and Stephanie, nephews, nieces, relatives and a large circle of friends.
Visitation at O'Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Tuesday, January 24th, from 5pm - 7pm with Prayers at 6.45pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, January 25th, at 12 noon in St. John The Baptist Church, Ovens which will be live-streamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/ovens. Funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery. House strictly private. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to Marymount.
