Joan McTeague

The death has occurred of Joan McTeague, of 16 Cartron Heights, Sligo and Gortnamóna, Glencar Road, Letterkenny, Co.Donegal, peacefully on 10th April, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and carers, predeceased by her father Dan (15th May 2025)

Dearly cherished and much loved, Joan will be so sadly missed by her mother Bernie, her sisters Ethna, Fidelma, Geraldine, Kate and Josie and her brother Paddy, brothers-in-law, Mark, Fergus and Paddy, sister-in-law Marie, her beloved nieces and nephews, Catherine, Seamus, Aoife, Breifne, Ellen, Dan, Conall, Euan, Matthew, Eimear, Orlaith, Ciara and Aisling, cousins, neighbours and many great carers and friends from Sligo and beyond.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace

Joan will be waked at 16 Cartron Heights, Sligo for her friends and carers on Friday 10th April from 5.00-7.30pm and at her home in Gortnamóna, Glencar Rd. Letterkenny (F92 D23X) on Saturday 11th April from 2.00-9.00pm with Rosary at 9.00pm.

Family time please on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral Mass on Sunday, 12th April, at 1.00pm in St. Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny which can be viewed online at www.churchservices.tv/letterkenny followed by burial in Conwal Cemetery.
