Peacefully in her 92nd year in the loving care of Cuan Chaitriona Nursing Home, Castlebar .Predeceased by her husband Tommy , parents Patrick and Kathleen and her siblings Eddie and Mary.Deeply regretted by her heartbroken sons Joe, Martin, Patrick and Frank, by her daughters Rosanne (Scardaune) and Margaret (Newport). Cherished grandmother to Keith, Ellen and Amy. Joan will be sadly missed by her sons in law Kevin O Connor and Michael Mulchrone, extended family, neighbours and many good friends.

Remains reposing at Ballintubber Resource Centre on Friday evening from 6pm with removal at 8pm to Ballintubber Abbey. Funeral mass on Saturday morning at 10.30am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Patient Comfort Fund of Cuan Chaitriona.
